Job description

At Dogwood Referrals, we are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic (ECVS/ACVS/RCVS) board-certified or board-eligible veterinary surgeon to join our growing specialist surgical team. This role provides clinical autonomy, empowering you to take ownership of your cases and actively shape the future of our surgical services. You will be part of a highly collaborative, expert team, where your input and ideas are highly valued.

As part of the Medivet network, this role offers access to a future Branch Partnership, with the potential for equity in the practice. This is a unique opportunity for long-term career progression and leadership involvement.

While we are currently focused on orthopaedics and neurosurgery, we are also open to candidates with a combined interest in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery and would fully support your growth and the development of this caseload. A part-time role would also be considered for the right candidate.

Additionally, we have purpose-built facilities for service expansion and a full rehabilitation suite, featuring physiotherapy and hydrotherapy services, led by ACPAT-qualified physiotherapists, to support a holistic recovery process.
