A specialist education provider in the Thanet area is seeking a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with SEMH needs. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, implement therapeutic strategies, and work collaboratively with teachers and therapists. Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant - Therapeutic SEMH School - Thanet

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant confident in theraputic practice to join a highly supportive, therapeutic school in the Thanet area. This specialist SEMH school provides a safe, structured and therapeutic environment for pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support. Staff work collaboratively using trauma-informed and child-centred approaches, ensuring every young person receives personalised care and education that helps them thrive‑academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

As a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
