A prominent health trust in the UK is seeking a qualified Clinical Physiologist in Neurophysiology to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months. Responsibilities include conducting EEG recordings, leading specific assessments, and working with patients of all ages. Applicants should hold or be pursuing AHCS or HCPC registration. An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to cover maternity leave on a fixed term contract lasting up to 12 months. The department is based at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, providing a regional service, and offers a comprehensive range of investigations.
Applicants should be a qualified Clinical Physiologist in Neurophysiology. You should also have or be in the process of obtaining AHCS or HCPC professional registration.

The suitable candidate will be competent and experienced in both basic and specialised techniques (although training can be provided) and experience of working with children would be an advantage.

Performs a range of complex and highly complex diagnostic neurophysiological investigations on patients of all ages from a range of specialties suffering from a wide variety of medical disorders including those with may be neurological, psychiatric and/or learning difficult in nature.
These will be undertaken in the dedicated environment of the neurophysiological unit or in a non-dedicated environment i.e. wards and intensive therapy unit in the Trust (some cross site working will be required).
