If you want to improve young people’s mental health, place their needs at the centre of everything you do and work across a wide variety of agencies to ensure the right support is provided at the right time, join Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) and Wigan CAMHS as a Specialist CAMHS Practitioner in Community CAMHS.
• Work with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to triage and assess referrals and provide timely access to appropriate care pathways.
• Manage cases, duty, risk assessments, and support training and development of the team and Wider THRIVE partners.
• Undertake CBT interventions with children and young people and, when fully qualified and registered, offer supervision in this modality.
• Deputise for senior staff in the absence of senior service leaders.

All applicants must subscribe to the DBS Update Service for a fee of £16 per year and maintain registration throughout employment.
• Pay enhancement – 30% additional for evenings (8pm onwards) and Saturdays, 60% additional for Sundays and bank holidays.
• Annual leave – 27 days plus bank holidays (29 days after 5 years, 33 days after 10 years).
