Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of the financial accounts for several international subsidiaries.
• Produce the quarterly accounts for consolidation into the Group account.
• Complete and action monthly reconciliations.
• Reconcile locally prepared accounts with those within the corporate accounting system.
• Ensure all tax computations are prepared and payments made on time.
• Preparation of Intercompany documentation to support inter-entity trading arrangements.
• Ensure cash forecasts are prepared and monitored.

Spanish Speaking Financial Accountant - About the Role

We have a newly created opportunity to join an international consultancy business based in central Croydon, within walking distance of East Croydon station. The position has come through the continued development of the business and the need for a fluent Spanish Speaking Accountant to join the business.

This position presents itself as an excellent opportunity for someone that wants to use their skills to develop this part of the business, bringing improvements to the processes and procedures.

As the Spanish Speaking Financial Accountant, you will:

• Be responsible for managing the operation of the financial accounts for a number of international subsidiaries
• Produce the quarterly accounts for consolidation into the Group account
• Complete and action monthly reconciliations
• Reconcile locally prepared accounts with those within the corporate accounting system
• Ensure all tax computations are prepared and payments made on time
• Preparation of Intercompany documentation to support inter-entity trading arrangements
• Ensure cash forecasts are prepared and monitored
• Plus, additional responsibilities

The successful Spanish Speaking Financial Accountant will have the following skills, experiences and qualifications:

• Must be a qualified ACCA or ACA (or Equivalent) accountant
• Experience of Financial Accounts
• Strong communication skills, written and verbally
• Good IT literacy, including the use of Excel with Pivot Tables and Lookups
