Job summary

A specialist recruitment agency is seeking an Electrical Test Operations Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will perform electrical and functional testing on spacecraft and related equipment. Candidates should have experience in cleanrooms and test operations. The position offers £37 per hour inside IR35. Responsibilities include executing test procedures and supporting test equipment logistics. Qualifications

  • Experience with spacecraft subsystems awareness, e.g., Data Handling, Power systems, and Thermal Control.
  • Experience in cleanroom environments and test operations.
  • Ability to validate test aids and support test documentation updates.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Electrical and Functional test procedures on Engineering test benches and flight spacecraft.
  • Support the development and debug of Automatic Test procedures.
  • Manage test equipment recall for calibration and test campaign logistics.

Skills

Electrical integration of equipment on a test bench or spacecraft
Use of a wide range of electrical test equipment and test racks
Executing test sequences/scripts on a test bench or spacecraft from a Central Checkout System (CCS)
Electrical fault investigation and test debug
Environmental and launch test campaigns
