About the UK Space Agency

The UK Space Agency's Sustainability & In-Orbit Servicing, Assembly & Manufacturing (ISAM) team seeks a highly motivated individual with experience in stakeholder engagement and communications for a complex programme.

Role Overview

Space sustainability aims to use space environment responsibly to meet current societal needs without compromising future generations. This involves addressing congestion caused by increasing satellite launches and developing industrial capabilities to lead in space sustainability, including active debris removal missions.

The role involves engaging with government, industry, and academia both nationally and internationally, supporting programme delivery, organizing events, preparing briefings, and managing promotional materials. Administrative tasks include writing business cases, reviewing invoices, updating stakeholder databases, and posting on collaborative platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support delivery of stakeholder engagement for Sustainability & ISAM initiatives.
  • Engage proactively with senior internal and external stakeholders, including presenting capabilities and discussing collaborations.
  • Organize events, compile briefings, and manage promotional content.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to engagement activities.
  • Develop strategies for building and maintaining relationships with UK and international organizations.
  • Work closely with the UK Space Agency's Communications team to produce accurate and professional promotional materials.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to interact confidently at senior levels.
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills with attention to detail.
