Space sustainability aims to use space environment responsibly to meet current societal needs without compromising future generations. This involves addressing congestion caused by increasing satellite launches and developing industrial capabilities to lead in space sustainability, including active debris removal missions.
The role involves engaging with government, industry, and academia both nationally and internationally, supporting programme delivery, organizing events, preparing briefings, and managing promotional materials. Administrative tasks include writing business cases, reviewing invoices, updating stakeholder databases, and posting on collaborative platforms.
