Overview

Novotel Nottingham Derby is a 4-star hotel located in Long Eaton, between Nottingham and Derby. Also, just off junction 25 of the M1.

Offering newly refurbished rooms with king-sized beds as standard also family rooms available, our features which we have a lovely restaurant and a lobby bar.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the HeadChef to develop and execute a la carte, specials and function menus
  • Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a positive and professional work environment
  • Ensure consistent high-quality food preparation and presentation across all dishes
  • Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen resources efficiently
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
  • Assist in staff scheduling and training to meet operational needs
  • Oversee kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence
  • Contribute to menu planning, including daily specials and seasonal updates
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, arranging repairs when necessary
