This role involves preparing high-quality meals, managing a team of Junior Chefs, and ensuring excellence in a fine dining kitchen setting. Candidates should have experience in fresh food cooking ideally to a 2AA rosette level and possess strong management skills.

Qualifications

  • Support Head Chef in preparing meals for lunch and dinner service.
  • Encourage and manage Junior Chefs in the kitchen.
  • Ensure all dishes are made on site daily.

Sous Chef - Fantastic Opportunity with Award Winning Restaurant

A Fantastic opportunity had arisen at our client based in the Kingham area of Oxfordshire for a Sous Chef to work in the kitchen of their award winning Fine Dining pub & Restaurant. This is a key role in the kitchen as you will support the Head Chef in preparing meals for lunch and dinner service. This is a fantastic Sous Chef opportunity with a great kitchen that has won awards and recognition for its food. The role is 48 hours a week and live in can be provided.

The Role
  • Working in the award winning kitchen using fresh, local & seasonal produce to cook fot multi AA rosette level
  • Encouraging and managing the Junior Chefs
  • Preparing meals using fresh ingredients on a daily basis. All dishes made on site daily
  • Kitchen Management duties - supporting Head & Sous Chef
The Person
  • You will already be a Sous Chef or a strong CDP or Junior Sous Chef looking for promotion.
  • Able to work unsupervised and have strong management skills
  • Experience of working in fresh food kitchens ideally to 2AA rosette level or higher
  • Highly motivated and focused. Positive can do attitude
