Job summary
A healthcare provider in Cambridgeshire is seeking a qualified individual to assist in the ultrasound department. The role includes organizing clinical workloads, participating in service reviews, and providing patient-focused care. A Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent is essential, along with HCPC registration. The position encourages Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
Qualifications
- The post holder must have either the Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (DMU) or an equivalent CASE-accredited PgC/PgD.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and/or other professional body where applicable.
- Willing to partake in Continued Professional Development (CPD).
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day organisation of the clinical workload within the ultrasound service across all sites.
- Participate in ongoing review of services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Be aware of the overall operational functioning of the department.
- Provide a caring, compassionate approach within a high-quality imaging team.
- Work independently when required and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Be qualified in general, obstetric & gynaecological ultrasound.

Working Arrangements
- Contracted hours of work to be agreed between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, 7 days a week.
