Overview

Central to the University’s Student Relationship Management (SRM) Team, this role shapes how the University connects with prospective students, supports current learners and engages with key services across the student journey. You will design and deliver innovative solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies, streamlining enquiries, application processes, case management and student engagement. The position champions modern low‑code approaches supplemented by custom development, working closely with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable, secure and intuitive digital solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain and support applications, solutions and services within the SRM team remit, ensuring high performance, reliability and security.
  • Lead on the design, development, delivery and maintenance of advanced customisations, integrations and extensions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and Agile teams to translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Apply established engineering practices including CI/CD via Azure DevOps, solution versioning, automated testing and robust documentation.
  • Ensure solutions align with Microsoft best practices, Power Platform governance and enterprise architectural standards.
Qualifications

  • Must have lived within the United Kingdom for the last five years.
Assessment Process

Assessment will be conducted in two stages – Stage 1 is an informal chat held on 18, 19 and/or 22 December. Those shortlisted in Stage 1 will be invited to Stage 2, a panel interview in the week commencing 05 January.
