Location: Lincoln, United Kingdom

Clearance: SC (Start) & SC (Role)

What you will do
  • Investigate potential problems in software applications.
  • Develop software requirements.
  • Implement software solutions and recommendations.
  • Contribute to architecture and design baselines.
  • Lead liaison with other disciplines (Systems Engineering, Formal Test) and manage team leadership.
  • Support the creation of software test artefacts.
  • Adhere to all relevant software standards.
Required Skills
  • Knowledge and experience developing software using Java, HTML, XML, JavaScript, C, C++ and C#.
  • Experience delivering real‑time software.
  • Knowledge of configuration management within a software engineering environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with team, internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
  • Strong time‑management and organisational skills; ability to work independently.
Desired Skills
  • Basic understanding of Tactical Data Links (TDL).
  • Knowledge of modelling languages (SysML, UML).

Pay Range

£47,600.00 – £61,000.00 (general guideline only)
