A local government authority is seeking a Soft FM Manager to oversee a range of facilities management services in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards and compliance across various services, including cleaning, pest control, and security. Strong experience in facilities management and budget management is required, along with excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. This role is not hybrid, demanding a presence in the workplace from Monday to Friday.
£52,194 - £55,323 per annum
This is not a hybrid role – it requires the successful candidate to be present in person in the workplace Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.

As Soft FM Manager, you will oversee a wide range of services including cleaning, pest control, waste, security, reception, porterage, and building‑related support at Newham Dockside, out HQ and a range of sites in ‘Area 1’. You’ll manage multiple service contracts, in‑house teams, and suppliers—ensuring high standards, compliance, and value for money are consistently achieved.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong relationship management, operational leadership, and an ability to deliver high‑quality services consistently across multiple sites.
This is NOT a hybrid role, but occasional flexible working will be considered subject to the exigencies of the service.
