Grade: 7/8 (SCP 26-36)
Salary: £32,909 - £42,503 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week
Together for Children works on behalf of Sunderland City Council to deliver children’s services in the city. This allows our social workers to carry out innovative work with children.
We have adopted the Signs of Safety model, embedded in all areas of practice. Whether you are familiar with this model or not, we offer extensive training and support through our dedicated Signs of Safety team, including co‑working and 1‑1 sessions.
You will have experience in undertaking assessments and producing robust plans. Creativity and experience in gaining the child’s views through direct work are essential. You will work collaboratively with partner agencies to provide high‑level support and intervention based on assessed needs.
