What you will do

• Kinship Care Assessments: Conduct suitability assessments of potential kinship carers and develop comprehensive care plans to ensure the child’s well-being.
• Support & Supervision: Provide consistent support, expert advice, and supervision to kinship carers, ensuring the highest standards of care for the children.
• Child Protection & Risk Management: Assess and manage any potential risks to children, creating detailed risk management plans where necessary.
• Child in Care Planning & Reviews: Play a crucial role in developing care plans and engaging in Children in Care reviews, keeping track of the child’s progress and ensuring their needs are met.
• Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work collaboratively with birth families, legal teams, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive care plan is in place.
• Court Work & Legal Proceedings: Prepare thorough reports for court hearings and provide testimony to support the proceedings.
• Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintain precise records and ensure all documentation aligns with policies and legal standards.
