Social Worker – Integrated Learning Disability Service

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Social Worker within the Adult Learning Disability Team to work full time based in Enfield.

The salary for this Social Worker job is up to £49,551 per annum.

• To undertake initial assessments within the area of specialism.
• To manage, monitor and review care plans involving users and carers and liaising with other workers and agencies as appropriate.
• To work at all times within the council’s Financial Regulations.
• To be aware of the resource available within the specialist area, including other sources of funding so that the maximum benefit may be obtained for service users within budgetary resources of the group.
• To comply with the Group’s recording policy, and to complete appropriate forms and documents as required.
• To make use of the management information systems, including information technology, in the recording retrieval and analysis of information as required by the department.
• To be managed and receive supervision from the immediate line manager and to be addressed against agreed standards and targets.
• Carry out all accountabilities in compliance with the Council’s Policies & Procedures.
• Any other duties reasonably requested by management.

Requirements of this Social Worker job:

• A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
• Registered or eligible for registration.
• Have a good working knowledge of the relevant legislation.
