Our Client Northamptonshire Council, is looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join their Children Safeguarding Service.

Rate £38ph (Non negotiable) Location - One Angel Square | Angel Street

Responsibilities

As a Children's Safeguarding Social Worker, you will play a critical role in protecting and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to safeguard children and support families in crisis. Your work will involve collaboration with various professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for the children in your care. To deliver and provide social work services, at a level appropriate for a professionally qualified post, to children and families to ensure the welfare of children and young people is safeguarded and they are protected in accordance with the legal and statutory obligations of Northamptonshire Children's Trust.

Safeguarding experience essential and must comply with the DFE guidelines.

Requirements
  • A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Continual professional development.
  • Social Work England registered.
