We are looking to recruit:

• 1.Method 22.2 hours permanent progressed Social Worker within the Northwich & Winsford Adults Learning Disabilities team.

The Adult Learning Disability TeamSupports Adults with Learning Disabilities to live a fulfilled life with access to social care services as required. This is a rewarding area of social work, with a focus on person centred planning and outcome focused practice. We work with a high number of people with varied needs ranging from complex health to forensic needs, who require skilled interventions. The team is a specialist service working alongside and in partnership with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS trust. The role is diverse, and no two days will be the same. The candidates will require the ability to form relationships with service users, families, and other professionals to allow for successful outcomes. You will have:

• CQSW/CSS/Diploma/Degree in Social Work or equivalent (Essential)
• Social Work England Registration (Essential)
• Be required to undertake an enhanced DBS plus Adults Barred List (Essential)
• Statutory and policy base of Social Work (Essential)
• Appreciation of recent developments in service provision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, carers and families.
• Ability to cope positively with change and an ability to promote positive changes to make a difference.
• Awareness of importance of multi‑disciplinary working and an integrated approach.
• Ability to carry out assessment and support planning in line with relevant legislation.
