YOUR MISSION

To create high-impact, audience-driven short-form content that fuels our shows growth across our social platforms. You will be working across Diary of a CEO, Begin Again, We Need To Talk and Science and Soul, editing teasers, clips, and shorts that maximise retention, engagement, and reach, ensuring the show’s presence remains dominant across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and beyond.

OUTCOMES
  • Short-form storytelling mastery: Edit clips, teasers, and shorts that captivate audiences within seconds, driving virality and retention.
  • Performance-driven editing: Ensure every edit aligns with data insights, optimising for watch time, shareability, and algorithm performance.
  • Speed & efficiency: Maintain a fast turnaround for clips, working seamlessly with the production and editorial teams to release content at the optimal time.
  • Platform-native content: Edit with a deep understanding of what works best on each platform

DAY TO DAY
  • Edit compelling short-form content from our shows long-form episodes, ensuring clips are engaging and algorithm-optimised.
  • Work with the editorial and brand team to identify high-performing moments and craft them into must-watch clips.
  • Enhance content with subtitles, captions, and motion graphics to improve accessibility and engagement.
  • Adapt editing style based on performance insights, constantly iterating for maximum impact.
  • Ensure all content maintains the highest production quality and adheres to the brand’s distinctive style.
  • Stay ahead of trends in short-form content, experimenting with new formats, transitions, and storytelling techniques.
  • Collaborate closely across all stakeholders in the team to execute a seamless content strategy.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Elite editing skills: Expert in Premiere Pro (or equivalent) with a strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and emotion.
  • Data-driven mindset: Ability to interpret analytics to refine editing choices and improve content performance.
  • Speed & efficiency: Comfortable working under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Platform fluency: Deep understanding of social media algorithms and how to optimise content for each.
  • Creative instinct: Ability to craft edits that feel fresh, exciting, and aligned with our shows distinctive brand identities.
