Job summary

A leading cybersecurity firm is seeking an experienced SOC Analyst for a permanent, remote role. You will act as a key client contact, conduct incident response investigations, and monitor SOC/SIEM systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills and a customer-focused attitude. This position offers a salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum and requires a full UK Driving License.

Qualifications

SOC Analyst - Permanent, Remote Role

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity specialist to support clients in both the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as a point of contact for clients
  2. Conduct Incident Response Investigations
  3. Perform Cyber Essentials Assessments
  4. Monitor SOC/SIEM systems
  5. Provide security guidance and advice to clients
  6. Prepare and write technical reports
  7. Exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions
  8. Manage multiple projects, prioritizing based on objectives
  9. Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures, including ISO 17025, ISO 9001, and ISO 27001
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience in Incident Response Investigations
  • Experience in data collection
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of SOC/SIEM
  • Experience in technical report writing
  • Proficiency with Encase and/or X-ways
  • Ability to handle technical queries and provide support
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
