The office will open in Victoria, central London, with on‑site work 5 days a week.

Position Overview

Looking for an engineer or CTO to build and own our technology infrastructure. The role focuses on engineering the internal tech stack—building pipelines, APIs, and tools—rather than managing IT or general software services.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data engineering pipelines for external vendor data, web scrapes, and internally generated data.
  • Create robust data pipelines and internal APIs to support data needs.
  • Develop front‑end tools as required for internal use.
  • Build and maintain custom risk models, factors, and analytics.
  • Address any emerging technical requirements and collaborate with the investment team and analysts.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
  • Strong background in data engineering, pipeline development, and working with external data vendors.
  • Proficiency in Python; experience with AWS cloud services and Airflow is highly desirable. Knowledge of GCP or Azure is a plus.
  • Front‑end development experience (any technology) is acceptable.
  • Experience in larger firm best practices, comfortable working solo initially, with the potential to grow a team later.
  • Capable of handling a wide range of technical problems as they arise.
  • On‑site requirement: Victoria, central London, 5 days per week.
  • Compensation: base up to £150‑175k GBP, with total compensation potential up to £500k GBP.
Additional Details

We anticipate recruiting early 2026, with a potential hire within six months, and an opportunity to grow the technology team over time.
