Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Infra Engineer for a contract role in Knutsford. This position requires expertise in Broadcom SiteMinder, UNIX/Linux administration, and DevOps tools. The selected candidate will work onsite three days per week, ensuring effective IAM solutions and automation in deployment processes. Strong knowledge of Docker and Jenkins CI/CD is essential for this role, which has a contract duration until March 2026.

• Create Docker images per application requirements.

Job description

Role Title: SiteMinder & DevOps Senior Infra Engineer

Duration: contract to run until 31/03/2026

Location: Knutsford, 3 days per week onsite

Rate: up to £506 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Role purpose / summary

We are looking for someone who is technically competent in a wide range of technologies, such as Broadcom SSO ( formerly CA siteminder), CA federation, CA directory , Oracle DSEE/ ODU, Oracle database, LDAP, IIS 7.x, Jboss and webservers such as apache and iplanet webserver. CHEF, IBM WebSphere application server, Inspec, Splunk, CA Wily.

Sound knowledge in Identity and access management tools, IBM Security/Tivoli Access manager, IBM Security/Tivoli directory server, RSA access manager, RSA entitlement server, Active directory Kerberos authentication

Must Have:

• Broadcom SiteMinder (on Linux)
• Microsoft Windows Server and IIS.

Requirements:

• Experience in SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect based authentication
• Sound Knowledge of UNIX / LINUX Administration & JBOSS
• Sound Knowledge of Windows/IIS administration
• Experience with automation and DevOps tools such as GIT/STASH, Jenkins, Nolio, NEXUS, SHELL scripting and Groovy
• Experience with alerting and monitoring tools such as CA APM, Wily, AppDynamics.
• OpenShift - Knowledge of Dockers and OpenShift: Should be able to create Docker images as per application requirement Configuration of secrets and configs on Deployment configs Deployment and other tasks automation using Jenkins CI/CD Pipelines
• CHEF - Creating wrapper cookbooks and adding attributes/roles/recipes
• IBM WebSphere
• AWS Practioner / Associate qualifications
