Overview

Outwood Academy Adwick is an 11–18 academy based just north of the large, friendly, South Yorkshire city of Doncaster. We have been a member of the Outwood Family since 2009, and in our 2023 Ofsted inspection, the academy was graded Good in all categories. The inspection noted “the school has a supportive and caring culture. Staff build warm and friendly relationships with pupils. Pupils achieve their full potential. Role and responsibilities

As a Site Supervisor, you will work as part of a team to ensure the provision of a high‑quality environment is achieved throughout the Academy. You will be responsible for ensuring the buildings are secure, tidy and fit for purpose. Your duties will align with health and safety requirements to maintain the school grounds and take remedial action where hazards are identified.

Qualifications and experience

The successful candidate would ideally have experience of site maintenance or a related trade. You will have Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths or a relevant qualification or demonstrable experience of the required knowledge and skills that will be tested at interview.

Hours

37 hours per week, 6am – 2pm Monday to Thursday and 6am – 1.30pm Fridays / 11.30am – 7pm Mondays and 11am – 7pm Tuesday to Friday. Working hours will include evening and occasional weekend work, but full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
