Job summary

A construction management firm is urgently seeking an experienced Highways Site Supervisor in Bexhill-on-Sea. The successful candidate will oversee and supervise all on-site highways activities, coordinate operatives and ensure safety standards are maintained. Essential requirements include a CSCS Gold Card and proven experience in civils or highways construction. Immediate availability for start is required to manage day-to-day operations on a live project, ensuring quality implementation and safe working practices throughout.

Qualifications

• CSCS Gold Card is mandatory.

Job description

We're urgently seeking an experienced Highways Site Supervisor to take charge of a single active construction site in the Bexhill area. This role is ideal for someone who can step in immediately, manage day‑to‑day operations, and ensure smooth, safe delivery of civils works on a live project including roads and surrounding civils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and supervise all on‑site highways and civils activities
• Coordinate operatives, subcontractors and deliveries
• Maintain high safety standards and ensure compliance with site procedures
• Carry out daily briefings, Das Checks and progress reporting
• Work closely with the project manager to keep the programme on track
• Ensure qualityimplementation, productivity and safe working practices at all times

Essential Requirements:

• CSCS Gold Card -ాలలో Mandatory
• Proven experience supervising civils or highways construction works
• Strong understanding of traffic management and safe systems of work
• Competent IT skills for reporting and communication
• Ability to take control of a site independently and confidently

Desirable (not essential):

• SSSTS / SMSTS

• Any traffic management qualification
