Job summary

A technical services company is seeking a skilled engineer to perform maintenance and repairs on chemical processing machinery. The ideal candidate will supervise service projects, mentor junior engineers, and have proficiency in mechanical and hydraulic systems. Experience in the chemical or pharma industry is advantageous. This position requires living within an hour of Huddersfield.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance, repairs and installations.
• Proficient in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in the chemical/pharma industry is a plus.

Overview

50/50 site & service (UK wide, South Coast to Fife), required to live within an hour of their Huddersfield address

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs and installations on chemical processing machinery
• Supervise and lead on-site service projects
• Train and mentor junior engineers
• Work on heavy, rotating machinery – centrifugal pumps and filter presses mainly

Qualifications/Experience (Essential)

• Time served, 3+ years
• Ideally late 30's-50's
• Service experience
• Proficient in mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Electrical experience - advantageous
• Chemical/pharma industry experience - advantageous
