A financial services corporation is seeking a Site Reliability Manager to lead a team and ensure platform stability on subsequent middleware platforms. The role involves incident management and collaboration across multiple teams. The ideal candidate has extensive experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Position: Site Reliability Manager within PNC’s Site Reliability Center (SRC). Based in Farmers Branch, TX, Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, Phoenix, AZ. The position is primarily based in a PNC location with responsibilities requiring weekly time in the office or in the field. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely at the manager’s discretion. Occasional travel may be needed. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. This position leads teams across 3 shifts for 24/7 support. Candidates are expected to be available for critical production issues as required, which may include off-shift hours and weekends.

We’re looking for a highly skilled and proactive Technical Manager to lead a dynamic team supporting PNC’s enterprise-grade middleware platforms. You will drive incident resolution, platform stability, and cross-functional collaboration across RND, Test, QA, and Production environments. A key aspect is enabling teams to utilize Site Reliability Engineering principals and practices.
Middleware & Tooling Supported: WebSphere, Tomcat, IIS, uDeploy, GIT / Bitbucket, Jenkins / CI Pipeline.

Job-specific responsibilities also include leading a team of Site Reliability Engineers to implement, maintain, and improve monitoring, response sites, and infrastructure applications; recommending and facilitating infrastructure enhancements; and streamlining deployments through automated configuration management tools.
