Site Manager – Groundworks Packages

Locations: Yorkshire, North West & North East. Accommodation provided | Relocation considered. Start Date: ASAP.

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established groundworks and civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality packages on large-scale residential and commercial projects. Due to growth and a healthy order book, they are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee sites across Yorkshire, the North West, and the North East.

Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day management of groundworks activities on-site
  • Managing site labour, subcontractors, and plant
  • Maintaining health & safety compliance (HSEQ)
  • Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management
  • Reading and interpreting site drawings
  • Liaising with clients, engineers, and project teams
Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Proven experience managing groundworks or civils projects
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White card), First Aid
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home when needed
  • Full UK Driving Licence
