Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a high-rise build project in Leeds. The role involves managing subcontractors, ensuring high standards of quality, and reporting to the Senior Management team. Ideal candidates should have a proven track record in commercial build site management, hold HNC/HND qualifications, and possess SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS certifications. Strong IT and communication skills are also important. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a Tier 1 main contractor team.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Site Management within the commercial build sector.
• Qualified to a minimum of HNC / HND level.
• Valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS certifications required.

Job description

A requirement for a Site Manager is available to join the delivery team on a key high-rise build project in the central Leeds area, where the position will be to join a Tier 1 main contracting business.

Responsibilities

• The role will be primarily responsible for the day to day operational management of sub-contractors across the project, with your key duties as follows;
• Manage Subcontractors on site.
• Report directly to the Senior Management team.
• Able to deal with tough negotiations and the pressure of a fast pace environment.
• Ensuring company HS&E and quality standards, operating processes, company policies and all legislative requirements are understood, implemented and adhered to at all times.
• Quality management - ensuring high standards of quality are achieved, addressing any issues with sub-contractors / trades.
• Client management / liaison.

Qualifications

• To be considered for this role you should fit the following criteria;
• Have a proven track record operating in a Site Management position within the commercial build sector.
• Qualified to a minimum of HNC / HND level.
• Hold valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS certification.
• Strong IT / paperwork skills.Good communication skills.
