A reputable remediation contractor in Birkenhead is seeking a Site Manager to join their senior management team. The role involves overseeing daily operations on site, managing teams and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely according to the plan. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the remediation or earthworks sector and hold necessary certifications. The position offers a competitive salary between £50,000 and £60,000 plus benefits, including a vehicle or car allowance and support for professional development.
Our client is an award‑winning remediation contractor who offers practical solutions for brownfield regeneration and contaminated land problems. By using their extensive in‑house experience, they aim to provide an unrivalled service tailored to their clients' individual needs. To date, our client has successfully completed technical projects throughout the UK for local authorities, residential and commercial developers, main contractors and consultants, either in the role of principal contractor or subcontractor, which range from small spills through to large multi‑technology soil and groundwater remediation/development platform preparation on brownfield sites.
Our client recruits only the best people, who are motivated, dedicated and can work with a professional outlook. Having worked closely with this client for many years, I would highly recommend them as they offer an excellent working environment where they encourage professionals to develop in their careers. Furthermore, with a close management team, the business has the ability to offer a real family feel, assuring that you will be a name rather than just a number within the organisation.
As part of their ongoing expansion, my client has identified the requirement for a Site Manager to join the senior management team permanently to work on projects throughout the North West of England.
Reporting to the Contracts Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day delivery of remediation projects across the UK. As a Site Manager, you will be accountable for taking the lead on site, managing teams, subcontractors and daily activities; coordinating plant, materials, permits and inspections; keeping site documentation up to date and delivering remediation and earthworks projects safely and in line with the project plan.
For this opportunity, my client is offering a basic salary of £50,000—£60,000 per annum; the specific salary will depend on previous experience and suitability. Furthermore, a generous benefits package will be offered, which includes a company vehicle or car allowance, enrolment in the company pension scheme, payment of professional membership fees, and support towards achieving professional qualifications such as chartered status.
If interested in this opportunity, please send a copy of your CV to me or call the main office landline to discuss this opportunity further on a confidential basis.
