Job summary

A leading construction contractor seeks a qualified Site Engineer to manage residential projects in the UK. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, maintain relationships with subcontractors, and deliver high-quality work. Candidates must hold an engineering qualification and have extensive experience in the field, particularly in residential projects.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years’ experience post graduate with a main contractor in UK or ROI.
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications required.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and checking works as per project specifications.
• Liaison with site personnel and subcontractors during project execution.
• Support Site Manager to ensure timely completion of works.

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Site Engineer – RC Frame

Project – Residential

Job Location – GB, Weekly Travel

Salary - £30K-£40K plus industry leading package

The Role

• Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
• Read and interoperate drawings.
• Support the Site Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.

Requirements

• HND / Degree Qualification in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Must have at least 3 years’ experience post graduate with a main contractor in UK or ROI.
• Ideally will have worked on timber frame or traditional build residential projects.
• Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
