A joint venture in civil engineering seeks a Site Engineer with Earthworks experience to join their team in Whitfield. You will be responsible for liaising with sub-agents, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring project standards. The ideal candidate will have an HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering and a CSCS card. EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high‑speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We are looking to recruit a Site Engineer with Earthworks experience to join our team in the Brackley area. In this role you will liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme and budget. You will work with the setting‑out team, be responsible for the performance and development of junior engineers and for identifying and resolving technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub‑Agent. You will monitor and coordinate subcontractors in the performance of their works, ensuring they are completed to the contractual requirements. You will also assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting.
