Rate: Competitive Day Rate (CIS / LTD / PAYE options)

The Role

We\'re recruiting for a reliable and experienced Site Engineer to support our client on a major industrial project in Fawley. This is a long-term opportunity on a live, high-value site with excellent prospects for continuity and progression. The successful engineer will have a strong background in setting out, QA, and working across civils or industrial packages, ideally in a live plant or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Setting out for groundworks, concrete bases, drainage, and associated civil works
• Producing as-builts, QA documentation, and technical reports
• Liaising with the site management team, subcontractors, and design teams
• Ensuring works are delivered to spec, safely and within programme
• Managing site surveys and interpreting technical drawings
• Supporting HSEQ compliance across the site

Requirements

• 2+ years\' experience in a Site Engineer role (Civils/Industrial preferred)
• Strong setting out and surveying skills using Total Station / GPS (e.g., Leica, Trimble)
• CSCS card (essential)
• SMSTS/SSSTS or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience working in live industrial or energy environments beneficial
• Full UK driving licence and own equipment (if required)
