A leading civil engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Engineer to work on marine civil projects. You will be responsible for setting out, surveying, and ensuring quality control during construction. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience and is proficient in AutoCAD and surveying tools. This role offers clear progression into management or specialized roles, with ongoing projects scheduled until 2027.
We're working with an outstanding Hampshire based business to recruit a Site Engineer for a portfolio of marine civil engineering projects. The business has an esteemed history in marine projects across the South Coast from Kent to Devon protecting the shorelines and enhancing our ports, sea defences and marine infrastructure. The buck doesn't stop there, they're also working within the water industry to future-proof our water supply for generations to come.
As a Site Engineer you'll join an established team and get stuck into some heavy civils reconstructing sea walls, installing drainage systems, deep sheet piling, upgrading critical defence infrastructure as well as restoring historical work. There is a clear run of work into 2027.
There is clear progression through engineering into management, or chosen path, into technically focused roles in planning, design or as a Managing Engineer.
The role is suited to someone with between 1 - 3 years' experience.
