Site / Setting Out Engineer - Permanent Role - Tier One Construction Contractor

First People Solutions is working in partnership with a leading UK-based construction and civil engineering contractor. Our client is a forward-thinking business delivering complex building and infrastructure projects across a range of sectors.

With a healthy pipeline of work, they are looking to expand their Site Engineering team with the addition of a permanent Site / Setting Out Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying duties for building and civils projects
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Liaising with site and project management teams to ensure timely delivery
• Maintaining records, site diaries, QA documentation and as-builts
• Ensuring works are carried out in line with HSEQ standards

Requirements

• HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience in a site engineering role within construction ideally with a Tier One
• Proficient with setting out equipment - total stations, GPS
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• CSCS card and full UK driving licence essential
