A leading specialist orthopaedic hospital in Birmingham is seeking a clinical expert to provide specialist knowledge and support the Advanced Clinical Practitioner in patient management for bone infection and revision arthroplasty. The ideal candidate will act as a patient advocate and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. The role includes flexible working arrangements, fostering an inclusive workplace environment.
The post holder, working with the Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), will be responsible for providing specialist knowledge and advice, demonstrating a sound understanding of the issues relating to the management of the patient group. They will implement effective care of patients under the care of the major revision hip/knee and Bone Infection Service. Utilise and develop their skills across a variety of settings, working as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
