A healthcare provider in Rotherham is seeking a passionate Senior Nurse for a permanent position. This role involves supporting the Ward Manager, coordinating nursing staff, and providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and relevant qualifications in nursing. The salary ranges from £38,682 to £46,580 per annum depending on experience. This position is crucial in delivering top-notch healthcare services in the community.
The Short Stay Unit (SSU) is looking for a passionate, hardworking and friendly Senior Nurse to support the Ward Manager on the ShortStay Unit. This is a permanent position of 34.5 hours a week. You will be the advocate for the Ward Managers in their absence and ensure care is delivered according to trust values, policies and procedures. You will coordinate the unit providing effective and consistent leadership to junior members of staff. You will also be responsible for supporting and educating staff on the unit to deliver the best care they can.

To have continuing 24 hour responsibility supporting the Ward Manager for the effective management of the area and deputising in their absence. In addition the post holder will provide nursing leadership within this area, ensuring an effective quality nursing service, with responsibility for standards of nursing care and patient safety.
The Sister/Charge Nurse will be responsible for supporting the Ward Manager with budget management of the ward, staff performance and appraisal. To manage an appropriate patient workload across the service, providing expert support and advice. Developing the teams and ensuring a seamless service for patients working closely with the Ward Manager and Nursing Team.
