Overview

A Sinhala-speaking Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper is required by this family in London to provide proper care for their charming toddler and maintain the cleanliness of their home. They seek an experienced, caring and easygoing candidate who has a basic understanding of child development. The role includes all typical childcare and housekeeping duties. Cooking and preparing healthy Sri Lankan cuisine for the family is required. Someone who could speak the Sinhala, Tamil or Hindi languages is also a must. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours

Monday and Wednesday for 4 hours a day, Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, approximately 16 hours per week

Duties
  • responsible for the safety, well-being, care and development of the child
  • implementing daily routines
  • changing nappies
  • providing healthy meals and snacks for the child
  • organising and participating in activities with the child
  • washing and bathing their child
  • school runs
  • bedrooms and bathrooms
  • wardrobe management and organisation
  • cooking and preparing healthy Sri Lankan cuisine for the family
Qualifications and requirements
  • experience in childcare and housekeeping
