Sompo has a unique opportunity for a SIIE Reporting Accountant in our European Regulatory Reporting team in SI Insurance (Europe), SA. The Regulatory Reporting Team is dedicated to producing high-quality regulatory reports to satisfy the requirements of our regulators and internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and insight to support informed decision-making and compliance.

Our business, your impact, our opportunity:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Take ownership of the Solvency II Reporting process, including the timetable and coordination of deliverables with different teams.
  • Prepare and analyze the quarterly and annual Solvency II Reporting, including the SFCR and RSR.
  • Prepare and analyze the quarterly Solvency Capital Requirement with related analysis and commentary.
  • Collaborate with other Finance functions (Tax, Technical Accounting, Financial Accounting, Corporate Controllership) and other departments (Actuarial, Claims, Operations, FP&A) to continuously enhance reporting processes.
  • Prepare other regulatory requests (NAIC) to various bodies.
  • Prepare the year-end Statutory Accounts for various entities, including liaison with other departments to obtain required information.
  • Support ad hoc projects as required.
