Overview

A Leading FMCG Food Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Shift Production Manager / Production Shift Manager to lead a team of three supervisors + 70 indirect. This is a unique chance to lead from the front, implement improvements, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of production operations. The shift pattern will be a rotation of Days and Nights which includes 2 weekends off per month. Salary £45,000 - £50,000, 25% Shift Premium, benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Take full ownership of daily operations on your shift, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for operational enhancement and implementing sustainable solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—planning, quality, and maintenance—to ensure seamless operations and optimal performance
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring a proactive approach to problem-solving and minimising downtime
Requirements / Qualifications

You will ideally be a Shift Production Manager used to leading a large team within a food manufacturing environment.
