Shift Plant Operator

£45,000 Basic + Overtime / Shift Cover + Production Bonus

Day / Night Shift

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with innovative company involved in manufacturing of specialist materials. The vacancy plays a vital role in ensuring the sites run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor plant processes, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Monitor and manage feedstock input to maximise production output.
  • Maintain accurate records of plant performance, maintenance activities, and compliance checks.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Carry out routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, including pumps, feedstock systems, motors, gear boxes, conveyor systems and gas engines.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults, assisting in repairs to maintain plant efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working in a heavily process driven environment - Milling, Malting, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Power Generation
  • Mechanical or electrical maintenance skills (desirable but not essential).
