A prestigious private members' club in London seeks a dedicated Shift Engineer to support daily operations and maintain high standards across all systems. The ideal candidate will possess technical knowledge in building systems, have at least 2 years' experience in luxury hospitality, and be proactive in identifying improvements. From distinguished art exhibitions to fine dining, live music, and an exceptional programme of events for members, the Club remains at the heart of contemporary cultural life in London.
The Arts Club is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Shift Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Club, ensuring all building systems, equipment, and services are maintained to the highest standards. This role requires broad technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying and addressing areas for improvement across the Club’s facilities — ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for members and staff alike.
This is a full-time position based on a 4 days on / 4 days off rotating shift pattern (12-hour shifts), requiring flexibility to support Club operations as needed.
