Job Title: Static Shift Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 per annum

A large national FM and maintenance company is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical biased to be based near a static site in Birmingham, West Midlands. This role offers a great opportunity to join an established maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out all PPMs and reactive works on site.
  2. Ensure all work complies with task schedules and industry best practices.
  3. Ensure site compliance and adherence to industry standards.
  4. Monitor and maintain all main plant and equipment within buildings daily.
  5. Establish and maintain good working relationships with employees and clients.
  6. Maintain a professional image and promote services.
  7. Supervise subcontractors, ensuring contractual and site compliance.
  8. Manage the site logbook system and keep all paperwork up to date.
  9. Oversee the management of on-site CAFM and Concept systems, ensuring all tasks are completed within SLA.
  10. Resolve client issues effectively, minimizing disruption and maintaining good relationships.
  11. Participate in a call-out rota for out-of-hours emergency response.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Fully electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  2. 18th and 17th edition wiring regulations.
  3. 2391 Test and Inspection certification (highly desirable).
  4. Experience working within occupied offices.
  5. Valid driving license.
  6. Ability to obtain DBS clearance.
