A Lead Auditor qualification (or working towards one) would be ideal, but if you've got the right drive and attention to detail, we'll support your development.

The Role

You'll be working primarily from our Greenhithe office, supporting the day-to-day management of our Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) systems. Your work will be key in ensuring we meet high compliance standards, maintain excellent documentation, and deliver on customer commitments. You'll get involved in audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement projects, all while developing your technical knowledge in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management of company-wide SHEQ systems.
  • Undertake internal audits and maintain the audit programme.
  • Keep all SHEQ documentation up to date (policies, processes, templates, etc.).
  • Manage controlled documents in SharePoint.
  • Act as the first point of contact for company complaints.
  • Assist in completing customer PQQs.
  • Help identify training needs and coordinate delivery.
  • Ensure PPE allocation and record-keeping are maintained.
  • Support continuous improvement and better communication across the business.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in auditing, compliance, or quality management systems.
  • Internal Auditor with Lead Auditor qualification (or working towards).
  • Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills.
  • Good understanding of auditing standards and compliance processes.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with document management systems
  • Proficient in the use of electronic records technologies and cloud-based document repositories, such as MS SharePoint
  • Proficient in the use of cloud-based audit and compliance platforms, such as BSI Connect
  • A team player who's also happy to work independently.
  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred

Don't meet every single requirement? We still encourage you to apply, if you're motivated, willing to learn, and excited about the role, we'd love to hear from you

Benefits

  • Competitive salary (based on experience).
  • Company performance-related bonus scheme (awarded at the discretion of the Directors).
