A local community service in Leeds seeks enthusiastic sessional lead facilitators to conduct workshops aimed at enhancing mental health and personal recovery. The role involves leading courses on self-care and wellbeing, utilizing both lived and learned experiences. Qualified practitioners with experience in community engagement and body-based practices will excel. Leeds Recovery College offers free courses and workshops for adults (18+) who live, work, or study in Leeds. Our aim is to support mental health, wellbeing, and personal recovery through evidence based wellbeing courses and education.
Our courses are co-designed and co-facilitated by people with lived experience of mental health challenges alongside professionals, ensuring both perspectives are equally valued.
Our topics cover awareness sessions, self-management courses, self-care, and body-based wellbeing activities.
We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and competent individuals to lead on the facilitation of 2 different sets of courses in the Recovery College. We are looking for individuals with the following skills, experience and knowledge:
