GamCare is recruiting a Services Team Leader to help grow our Womens Pathway, supporting women affected by gambling harm to access help that feels safe, relevant and responsive to their lives. Through close collaboration with colleagues and partners, you will strengthen pathways, extend the reach of the service and help more women receive timely, effective support that makes a real difference.
You will manage the day-to-day delivery of women-centred support across the UK, combining people leadership, case management supervision and service development. The role also offers the opportunity to shape new digital and in-person support, improving access and outcomes for women.
Listening to women with lived experience is central to the post. Their voices will inform how services are designed, delivered and improved, ensuring support continues to reflect the diverse needs of women accessing the Womens Pathway.
You are an experienced practitioner or manager who brings compassion, clarity and confidence to your work. Experience supporting women with complex needs is essential, alongside a strong understanding of safeguarding, risk and quality practice. Backgrounds in areas such as gambling harm, mental health, addiction, domestic abuse or wider womens services are all relevant.
You value reflective supervision, supportive leadership and psychologically safe teams. Insight, data and lived experience guide how you think about service improvement. Comfort working autonomously in a remote role, while staying connected to colleagues and partners, is important. Lived experience of gambling harm is welcomed and valued.
