Location: Berkshire. Industry: Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs), Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHPs), Renewables, Domestic Heating.
Benefits: £40k-£50k, door to door pay, overtime, 42 hours per week, weekend rota, new van and tools.
Candidate: Experienced domestic heating engineer with hands-on experience servicing, fault finding and fixing, and knowledge of heating and plumbing systems incorporating air source heat pumps. Plumbing and electrical training and/or rewiring heating controls with knowledge of refrigeration is a benefit. FGAS training can be provided.
This is a brand-new Service and Maintenance Engineer position created due to growth, working for a leading renewable energy systems provider in the UK.
As the Service & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining air source heat pumps on residential housing projects, including:
Extensive experience in plumbing and heating (install, service and/or design) of domestic or commercial unvented hot water systems incorporating heat pumps (ASHPs or GSHPs) or other renewables such as solar PV, heat recovery, and underfloor heating. Recognised industry training and qualifications such as City & Guilds plumbing and heating, BPEC, G3 unvented hot water systems, F-gas, boiler training, heat pumps, and electrical training are an advantage but not essential compared with hands-on installation, service and maintenance experience on heat pumps and working with heating controls.
