Defour Partnership is proud to be supporting the recruitment of a Service Leader / Registered Manager for an Extra Care service based in Knowsley on behalf of a respected, national, award-winning social care charity.

This is an exciting opportunity for a values‑led and experienced leader to make a real impact in the lives of others by managing a person‑centered, community‑focused service.

The Role
  • Lead and motivate a team to deliver outstanding person‑centered support.
  • Take responsibility as the Registered Manager for compliance and quality standards.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and meaningful community connections.
  • Oversee and implement care plans for individuals with complex needs.
  • Drive performance, wellbeing and a culture of continuous improvement.
About You
  • Experienced in Health and Social Care leadership, ideally in Extra Care or Supported Living.
  • Confident in supporting people with a range of needs, including behaviours requiring intensive support planning.
  • Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 4 Health & Social Care, Social Work, Nursing).
  • Strong values‑based leadership approach with excellent communication and team management skills.
  • IT‑literate and able to work effectively with internal systems (training provided if needed).
