  • Servicing, maintaining & repairing pumps, generators and Diesel-powered equipment, both in house and at customer sites
  • Preparing and inspecting equipment at the depot prior to hire
  • Carrying out overhauls and refurbishments on end-of-life machinery
  • Diagnosing faults and repairing machinery to prevent downtime
  • Collaborating with the Service team, Hire Controller and Foreman to work as effectively as possible
  • Previous experience in the service, diagnosis and repair of mechanical equipment
  • Previous experience working with Plant Equipment, Pumps, Generators and / or Diesel Engines
  • Good working knowledge of EHSQ practices
  • Qualified in an Engineering / Mechanical & Electrical discipline to NVQ Level 3
  • Full UK Driving licence
