Metworks, the in-house maintenance service of MTVH, is looking for a dynamicService Delivery Managerto lead operations across a defined region. This is a pivotal role responsible for managing responsive repairs, voids, disrepair, and planned works, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations across repairs and maintenance services.
- Drive performance and value for money through effective resource management.
- Oversee a team of Contract Managers, Supervisors, and Trade Operatives.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, regulatory frameworks, and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with MTVH colleagues to deliver long-term property solutions.
- Act as NICEIC Principal Duty Holder for the region.
- Handle complaints and customer issues with professionalism and care.
- Maintain risk registers and ensure contract management procedures are followed.
- Take the lead on our developing our trade apprenticeship programme
- Work collaboratively with MTVH colleagues across various directorates
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in senior management within a maintenance or housing environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering operational excellence.
- In-depth knowledge of social housing maintenance and regulatory frameworks.
- Professional or trade qualifications (or equivalent experience).
- Deep understanding of applicable H&S / CDM legislation and how to apply it constructively
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to analyse data, make informed decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Commitment to customer service and collaborative working.
