Job description

We are seeking an experienced Service Charge Accountant to join a well-established property management business based in Edgware. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in service charge accounting and be able to manage all aspects of financial reporting for residential and commercial property portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review service charge accounts in accordance with industry standards.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of all financial data.
• Liaise with property managers, auditors and leaseholders to resolve queries.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and year‑end statements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in service charge accounting within property management.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in property management or accounting software (e.g. Qube TRAMPS or similar).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Salary: per annum (commensurate with experience). Exceptional candidates may be considered for a higher package.
